No. 10, Havana, Jan 23" duplex, Cuba 1899 soldier's letter cover bearing #222 tied by purple "Mil. P. Sta. No 26, Buena Vista, Cuba. Mar 24 1899" duplex, Cuba 1899 registered cover bearing #221, 223 (3), 225 (2) tied by purple "Mil. Sta., No. 13, Cuba, Cienfuegos" oval postmark to New Bedford Mass. and Philippines 1900 registered cover with #214 (5) franking; also includes 1898 Richard Pearson Hobson patriotic cover and couple patriotic post cards, F.-V.F., an interesting group.

Oct 31 1898, magenta cds on registered cover to Germany via Hong Kong bearing 1¢ blue, 2¢ pink, 10¢ green (264, 267, 273) with purple "Manila R. No." framed registry handstamp, reverse with Hong Kong (11.3) transit and Bremerhaven (12.5) arrival cds; part of flap missing, 2¢ corner flaw, Very Fine.

Sampson design special delivery to New York City, #279B on Dewey Days design showing portrait and battleships, #285 pair on Fitzhugh Lee design to Lewisburg Pa., #300 and #279 on 1901 Pan-American Expo all-over flag post cards and two similar envelope designs with #279B and #279B, E5; #285, 287 on Capt. R.D. Evans design to Germany, Cape of Good Hope use of Canadian all-over flag design and simlar post card design used from Canada, etc., some mixed condition, F.-V.F., plenty of better designs and a great basis for expansion.
