New York, N.Y., two registry labels on 1907 registered cover from Pamiers, France to Tahiti and forwarded to Argentina bearing France 35c tied by "Pamiers, 22-11 07" cds to Tahiti but missent first to Buenos Aires (12.13) and then to Tahiti via London (1.16) and San Francisco (1.30) transit backstamps, apparently missent again with New York (2.5) backstamp transit and registry exchange label affixed, finally received in Tahiti with Papeete (5.3) backstamp, addressee not available and forwarded to Argentina via San Francisco (5.16) and New York (5.21) with registry label affixed, finally returned to sender arriving with Pamiers (10.28) arrival backstamp, F.-V.F.

A very scarce double use of New York exchange office labels, one for outbound leg from New York to Tahiti but not received in Tahiti until May 8th, and the other for the final return leg from Argentina to France. This letter was sent from France addressed to Tahiti first and to be forwarded to Argentina if not found, but the the ensuing confusion probably inhibited delivery and the addressee was not found at either location.
