U.S. Officials Balance, group of 21 stamps including some fancies, includes O17 with "Used Up" cancel (Cole ML-89) of Traverse City Mich., O32 used (cat. $425), O57 unused position 51 clearly showing the plate scratch at left into the design, thin spot, O60 var. unused from position 27 showing plate scratch, thin spot, O83 with purple Port Townsend Wash. Terr. star cancel, O86 with Fort Leavenworth Kans. honey comb cancel, O86 with bold purple star, O90 with "2" in circle cancel, O116 with Fort Maginnis, Mont. Terr. datestamp, etc., some small faults to be expected, F.-V.F.
