Forwarded by Harnden & Co., Liverpool, illustrated ship forwarders oval handstamp used as corner card on 1848 folded letter bearing G.B. 1d red on bluish, four margins, tied by oval grid to London, reverse with matching Liverpool (11.10) cds and London (11.11) arrival cds, letter concerns customs issues with a shipment of books for the British Museum, Very Fine.
