Only four examples of this rare frank are recorded. All are dated to late March or April of 1863 and are used locally.

Collect., black on green label (Wellburn type 3) affixed on 1864 cover to Leeds, England with manuscript "Via New York" routing endorsement at top, entered the mails with blue oval "Post Office, Victoria V.I." coat of arms handstamp, "San Francisco, Cal., Mar 8, 1864" transit cds and "Leeds, Ap 13, 64" receiving postmark with "1/-" due handstamp applied upon arrival; label with some gum soak stain & scuffing, cover with most of backflap missing, F.-V.F.; with 2013 P.F. certificate.Estimate $1,500 - 2,000.
