Dec 18, oval company handstamp on yellow cover bearing 3¢ dull red (26), corner fault, tied by two strikes of bold "Paid" handstamps, matching "Pacific City Ioa Dec 13" cds to C. Nuckolls at Mountain City, Kansas Territory, endorsed "Care C.O.C. & P.P. Express, St. Joseph" at lower left; accompanied by C. Nuckolls return letter datelined "Mountain City (Sunday) Dec 23 /60" talking about closing his affairs and heading back home, Very Fine, ex-Grunin.

Wells Fargo Co., Stockton, Mar 4, blue oval postmark on 10¢ green (U17) entire paste-up with scarce red Wells Fargo & Co. frank bearing three 3¢ dull red (26) singles on front and seven singles on reverse, all tied by separate strikes of "New-York Mar 26" cds, addressed to Caledonia N.Y.; some faults to pasteback, F.-V.F., a scarce Wells Fargo use franked at four-times the 10¢ rate.
