King Kamehameha V, Autograph Letter Signed "K" on 7" x 4½" Royal black bordered stationery (Medcalf #4) with black "K V" crown and "Iolani Palace" imprint, file fold and small spindle hole, reading:
"30th Decr 1868, My dear Dominis,
I should like to have a Notice in serted in the "Au Okoa" calling on any one, to produce on a stated day any one, to produce on a stated day, any article of value, that they may have in change, and belonging to the Estates of my late sister and father. I have learnt that there are several people who have in their possession articles belonging to my family, and I am anxious to have these returned and if of any value preserve them. There parties are willing to return them, yours in haste, Kamehameha.
P.S. Perhaps you have better call here, so I can explain my ideas better. K.

King Kamehameha V, Autograph Letter Signed "Kamehameha" on official 7" x 4½" black bordered mourning stationery (Medcalf #4) with black Royal "K V" crown imprint and "Iolani Palace" adjacent, reading "12th May 1867, My dear Sir, Mr. Stanley has decided to have Kanakakoa / now in the station house / appear as a witness against Paakai the person who stole the piece of Kou-wood. I therefore request you to have Kanakakoa released, and tell him to come up here, Yours truly, Kamehameha to W.C. Parke Esqr.; file folds and tiny edge flaw at right, Very Fine.

King Kamehameha V, Autograph Letter Signed "Kamehameha" on 7" x 4½" Royal black bordered stationery (Medcalf #4) with black "K V" crown and "Iolani Palace" imprint, letter reads "28th March 1867, Moy dear Dominis, In the matter of the Mortgage executed by Mr Hopkins to my late brother, and which I requested you to sell yesterday, upon some reflection I wish you would not sell it until you hear from me. Yours very truly, Kamehameha"; slight fold separation, light tone band and tiny punch hole, F.-V.F.
