Special Delivery, 1894, 10¢ blue, unwatermarked, o.g., never hinged, near perfect centering within huge beautifully balanced boardwalk margins, deep rich color on bright fresh paper, an Extremely Fine to Superb jumbo, this is the highest graded stamp to receive the jumbo designation (and the sole example) with only one stamp graded higher (Gem 100); with 2010 P.S.E. Graded certificate (XF-Sup 95J, SMQ $18,300).

True jumbo margin examples of the 1894 10¢ Special Delivery unwatermarked issue occur from time to time, however very few exhibit exceptional centering and virtually none have escaped being hinged. This example exhibits both these rare qualities with know other examples we have found to be regarded as a "superb n.h. jumbo gem".
