Argentina, Covers, 1800-1916, group of 14 with some better including 1800 c. from Spain with red "3 De Plate" straightline to Buenos Ayres, 1800 c. cover front with red "Medosa" straightline to Chile1863 Argentina via French agency to France, 1865 with "Conf. Argentine, Carmel, 12 Aout 65" datestamp to France, various uses to France with French Packet datestamps incl. 1867 with "Buenos-Ayres, Paq. Fr. K No 1" and "Bresil, Bordeaux, 16 Auot 67" cds, 1874 Argentina 5c on cover via French packet to France, 1878 with Argentina 8c on cover to Italy with 1L and 40c postage dues, and 1916 POW letter from SMS Camp. Trafalgar on Martin Garcia Island, etc.; some flaws.

Australia, Collection, 1913-70, mostly used housed on pages in old binder; good showing of issues missing mostly the scarcer items including 1913 issues to the 1sh used with £2 specimen, 1915-25 issues to the 10sh used with £1-£2 specimens, 1929-30 issues with complete specimens (cat £450), 1931-36 issue with specimens, 1932 Sydney Bridge issue complete mint and used, 1950's gutter pairs and blocks, etc.; condition varies, owner's Scott cat $5,000.

Austria, 1850-1930, lovely specialized collection which was first started in 1920 and won first prize in 1926 at the Androscoggin Stamp Club of Auburn, Maine, housed in nine old time "Ne Plus Ultra" albums produced by Scott Stamp Co., included is mint, used, cancels, multiples, perf. varieties, plate varieties, paper varieties, shades, included is a very nice range of Lombardy-Venice, Offices in Levant, Feldpost Issues, Bosnia, Serbia, collection also included a large wealth of philatelic and historical information, some faults here and there, generally Very Fine.
Estimate    $7,500 - 10,000.

Austria, Collection, 1850-1900, mostly used mounted on album pages; includes near basic completion in regular issues for the period as well as 5 full pages of cancellation study, newspaper issues with strong completion and highlights including the 1851 (6kr) yellow Mercury used (Sc. #P2, repaired at top) and other good later issues, Offices in the Turkish Empire with few first issues including mint 5sld red and completion in later issues, Lombardy-Venetia with complete basic regular issues and the rare Newspaper Tax 1858 1kr black (Sc. #PR1, cat $3,750), includes additional four full pages of cancellation study, etc.; condition a little mixed mostly confined to rare issues, otherwise above the norm overall; worth careful inspection.

Austrian Offices in the Holy Land, Austrian Levant Postmark Collection, 1859-1914, 14 covers and cards and approximately several hundreds stamps mounted and annotated on pages; starting with "Gerusalem" cds's on 1863-64 issues including red brown cancel, following Jerusalem cancels by types on the various later issues, including 1890-92 perf 11 varieties, scarce multiples, dues, section of Jaffa in similar format, Offices in Crete issues used in Jaffa, etc.; condition varies, a nice assembly for the specialist.
