1909, $1 Violet Brown, Earliest Known Usage, tied to part Washington - Alaska Bank registry tag by "Fairbanks, Alaska, July 12, 1909" cds, in combination with 1908, 8¢ olive green, horizontal pair and single (337), stamps with small faults, Very Fine appearance; with 2016 P.S.A.G. certificate.

1908-22, Washington-Franklin Issue, Used Coil Balance, approximately 60 singles, pairs and line pairs mostly on pages, hand-selected for well centered and attractively canceled items; lacking most of the 1908-10 coils but follows with a selection of 1910 8½ perf singles including 3¢ & 4¢ issues, most 1912-14 1¢-2¢ coils in pairs, 1914-16 issues with horiz rotary 3¢-5¢ issues and better pairs including #450 line pair (cat $800), later issues well represented including horiz line pairs, accompanied by 18 certificates; some minor duplication to be expected, Very Fine to Extremely Fine overall.

1910, 4¢ Orange Brown Coil, vertical pair, neat oval cancel, wide margins, rich bright color, 2016 certificate mentioning "some hinge reinforced separations between stamps" which we fell is in error (as do previous certs) as all perfs are strong and sound, Very Fine and choice, an attractive used pair; with 1986, 1988, 2003 and 2016 P.F. certificates.

1909, 4¢ Orange Brown, Bluish Paper, o.g., very lightly hinged, beautifully centering for this notoriously off center stamp, bright fresh color, long full perforations, Very Fine and choice, one of the finest examples of this rare stamp, which is normally notoriously off center; with 2013 P.F. Graded certificate (VF 80).
