1909 Hudson Fulton Collection, collection with approx. 200 post cards plus two tickets, and a stereoptican slide, the mint and used post cards include: four real photo post cards, Official Hudson-Fulton Celebration set with over 100 incl. over 60 different out of the set of 72 by Redfield; Manhattan Series set of 16 Post Cards by Churchman Co. with original patented mailing envelope, 6 multicolor Tuck & Sons series 164, 8 post cards by Valentine & Sons including one used with scarce large Hudson-Fulton Celebration label, F.-V.F., a scarce collection.

San Diego (Exposition Sta.) Cal., Jul. 26, 1915, Registered, beautifully struck violet double circle postmark (Bomar SD16-02) on Post Office Dept. Penalty Envelope with rare unlisted violet straight line "Exposition Station, San Diego, Cal." handstamp, cover endorsed in address panel "Compliments of Exposition Station", Extremely Fine, a rare cover which is used in 1915 and is the only known example of this combination of markings, ex-Mader.
Estimate    $1,000 - 1,500.

This is the uniquely listed on cover example of this exposition postmark with two other strikes noted on facing slips. This cover realized $3,750 hammer in our 2009 Westpex sale.

San Diego Panama-California International Exposition Balance, 1915-16, of 26 covers and cards and some ephemera; highlight by four cover bearing various Exposition label used from the exposition, one is an official cover with illustrated corner card and allover Exposition design and enclosure, official business cover with "Government Exhibit Board, Panama-California International Exposition, San Diego, 1916" corner card, nice run of additional covers and cards with first type duplex postmark including incoming usages and official post cards, some slogan machines and unused Exposition labels, Very Fine overall.
