A CHOICE EXAMPLE OF THE RARE $5 PROPRIETARY ISSUE ON VIOLET PAPER.

Only 74 examples of the $5 Proprietary on violet paper were ever issued. Due to the stamps size, the far majority of these issue have flaws to some extent. This stamp, with only a tiny thin, is by far one of the finest examples known.
