(Nevada) - Incoming from San Francisco Cal., group of three covers from the same correspondence San Francisco to Rough & Ready Cal. comprising Nov. 1851 with "5" cent rating handstamp, forwarded to Cold Spring Cal. with "Rough and Ready Cal 'Dec 6' " cds with manuscript date and matching "Ford 5" rating totalled to "10"; second with "San Francisco Cal. Feb" and matching "5" rating handstamp, and last with "San Francisco Cal. 27 Apr" cds and red "Paid" handstamp and manuscript "6" rating, F.-V.F. trio.

(Nevada) 10¢ Transcontinental Rates, two orange buff covers, each with sharp strike of with circular postmarks (NEV-2010) and matching "10" rating handstamps, first dated "April 25" in manuscript to Bath Me. with original 1853 enclosure headed "Kentucky Flat" and mentions enclosing gold in last letter "…I wrote to you & Joseph both a short time ago & I put a small specimen in Joseph's letter that was worth more than all the news that I can think of…"; other dated "June 6" to Burlington Vt., Very Fine and choice pair of 10¢ transcontinental rate covers.

(Nevada), 1891-1931, small balance lot of four cards and four covers all with various postmarks of Rough & Ready, one is a cover franked with 2¢ 1890 tied by perfect strike of Town & Postmaster cds of Rough & Ready, Pennsylvania, and one is reportedly the only known cover franked with 2¢ 1890 with Rough & Ready, Cal. cds showing the handstamped corner card of "E.H. Fowler, Postmaster, Dealr in General Merchandise, Rough & Ready", Fine.
