1856, 5¢ red brown, vertical strip of 3, margins clear to mostly large showing portions of adjacent stamps at right, tied by "New Orleans, La., Jun 30, 1857" cds's on folded letter to Paris, France, additional tied by small manuscript mark at center and red French transit at bottom, red "New York, Paid 12, Jul 8" exchange cds, forwarded with France with numerous transit backstamps, Extremely Fine; with 2016 P.F. certificate.

1856, 5¢ red brown, four margins, used with 10¢ green, type III (15), four margins with deep rich color, tied together by circular grid cancels, red "New York 'Paid 12' Aug 25" credit exchange cds, carried as endorsed by Cunard Line Canada from Boston Aug. 26th to Liverpool arriving Sep. 5th, "Et. Unis Serv. Br." (9.7.57) entry cds, reverse with Paris (9.8) and Lyon (9.9) backstamps; top edge tape stain, Fine and scarce combination for the 15¢ treaty rate to France.

1855, 10¢ green, type II, horizontal strip of four, positions 37-40R1 with right sheet margin showing part imprint ("n & Cincinnati"), mostly large margins all around, scissors-cut between last two at right, used with 1¢ blue (9) horizontal pair, ample to large margins, each tied by "Richmond, Va. Mar. 2, 1857" cds on cover to Linkoping, Sweden, red "New-York Mar 4, 1857" backstamp and magenta "19" credit rating and also squiggle cancelling 4th stamp in strip, red "Aachen Franco" framed transit with blue ms. "f5" rating, backstamps include Royal Danish Postal Agency (3.19) and Royal Swedish Postal Agency (3.19) double-circles of Hamburg offices, Helsingborg (3.21) transit also ties strip, Linkoping (3.26) arrival backstamp; the fourth stamp in strip was originally folded over edge with resulting creases that has been opened for display and pressed, Fine and rare use.
