Leland & McComb Express, red oval handstamp (LEA-100) with "e's" removed from "McCombe's" (second Leland partnership) on pristine cover to San Francisco, Very Fine, a very rare Express marking from this short lived company, which only operated for about eight months, ex-Clifford, Haas and "Edwards".

Myers Express (per), manuscript express endorsement (MYE-900) at top of cover addressed to San Francisco, from the McKay correspondence, Very Fine, described in Nathan's book as a frank, ex-Haas and Edwards.

THE ONLY KNOWN USAGE FROM MYERS EXPRESS.

Samuel H. Myers, "The Cayoosh Expressman", is believed to have operated this express between Port Douglas, Washington Territory and Cayoosh, British Columbia.

Northern Pacific Express Co., San Francisco, Cal., Oct 3, 1887, purple oval date stamp (NOR-104) on 1886, 2¢ brown entire, locally addressed, with blue printed frank (NOR-002) at top, Very Fine and choice, less than a dozen examples of this frank are recorded in Thomas.

Pacific Express Co., Stockton, two entires, one with choice bold blue oval "Pacific Express Co., Stockton, Jun 6" datestamp on 3¢ red entire to San Francisco, Cal., tear at top; other with bold "Pacific Express Co., Stockton, Paid" blue double-oval at upper left used as a frank on 1853 3¢ red entire with blue oval Pacific Express, Stockton cancel to San Francisco, Cal., fine strike of Hewlett & Collins General Merchandise handstamp on reverse, an early Pacific Express cover before they received printed franks., F.-V.F., a scarce pair, ex-Mader.
