Confederacy, Crawfordsville, Ga., Nov. 7, neat cds with matching "Paid" in oval handstamp (Dietz type A) with manuscript "10" rate on neat cover to Vice President Alexander Stephens in Richmond, docketing on reverse asking for Stephens to discharge soldier and send him home to his mother, most of flap missing, Very Fine.

Confederacy, Savannah, Ga., duplex dated with what appears to be "Mar. 29, 1861" on United States 1861 3¢ Star Die addressed to Howell Cobb in Montgomery, entire forwarded to Macon with United States 1857 3¢ dull red (defective) tied by "Montgomery, Ala., Mar. 27, 1861" cds, Very Fine, date of one postmark must be incorrect, a nice Confederate usage of United States postage.
