Makins & Co., San Francisco Cal., matching red solid "R." registry handstamp, endorsed "F.C. Atherton" on reverse, purple San Francisco (11.17) arrival backstamp, a Very Fine registered use.

(FX-SF1a) registry label with "12847" number affixed for outbound return; reduced at right and lower right corner improved, F.-V.F., ex-Bleuler, Omdahl.
