Korea, 1900 (January 17) picture post card from Seoul to Friedenau, Germany, printed matter usage, card marked "Journey Around the World Publishing House"; franked with 1st printing 50p (Scott #9d), postmarked Seoul and with March 10 Friedenau receiving strike; views of Royal Palace and Gardens on reverse; attractive usage following January 1 currency change from poons to chons; stamp value converts to 5ch, a slight overpayment of the 4ch postcard rate, Fine and attractive.

Korea, 1900 (October 24) cover from Seoul to Seattle, Wash., franked with pair of 5ch perf 10 (Scott #23a), neatly postmarked with a second strike as well; November 19 Seattle duplex receiving backstamp; tear to top right corner, not affecting stamps or markings--still a very attractive cover; accompanied by copy of 1964 Zirkle handbook (p. 93), where the cover is illustrated., Fine.

Korea, 1904 (May 17) Philatelic Cover from Chemulpo to Tsingtau (German Kiautschou), 1ch greenish blue postal card uprated with 2ch on 1st printing 25p and 4ch Falcon (Scott #36, 43), all canceled with "Chemulpo Coree" postmarks; May 30 Tsingtau Kiautschou receiving stamp on front, handwritten German message on reverse; fresh and attractive, Very Fine and scarce.

Korea, 1904 (November 26), postal card from Chemulpo to Kiel, Germany, a lovely, attractive 1 cheun card uprated by 3, 4, 5 and 6ch Falcon issues, all tied by "Chemulpo 26 Nov 04 Coree" cds's (note inverted month slug), with Kiel arrival marking of 17 January 1905, F.-V.F., a colorful, scarce and delightful philatelic usage.
