Hawaii, Kaunakakai, Molokai. Feb 3, 1894, remarkable bold strike ties 5¢ ultramarine (39) on cover to New York N.Y., additional strike at bottom left plus two strikes of "Honolulu. H.I. Feb 4, 1894" duplex also tie 5¢, reverse with San Francisco Cal. (2.5) arrival cds, Very Fine and choice use to the United States, ex-Nettles.

Hawaii, (Maui) Haiku, H.I., Post Office, circular town postmark (MH 238.02, 1RRR) tying 1875, 2¢ brown (s.e. and small margin scuff) on piece, a Very Fine strike, very rare with only seven strike recorded.

Hawaii, (Maui) Kaupo, Lulai 20, manuscript town and date postmark (803, 1RRRR) on 1875, 2¢ brown, with additional target handstamp cancel, Very Fine, an extremely rare Kaupo manuscript cancel and unlisted with dateline with Hawaiian spelling of the month of July.
Scott No. 35    Estimate $500 - 750.

On Gregory's "Post Office in Paradise" website, the Kaupo manuscript postmark is listed (801 name only) and does not list the town and date manuscript. This is the only example of a postmark known to us with any Hawaiian spelling other than the town name.
