Manchurian Provinces, Local Overprint Issue Collection, of 279 mostly mint post-Manchukuo issues, including several blocks (8), overprints from 68 different town following the Kerr catalog, with each stamp carefully identified plus some varieties; seldom offered material.

China (People's Republic), Collection, 1949-2003, mostly mint on album pages in three binders, with used confined to pre-Revolutionary issues; early issues with a mix of mostly reprints and original sets, strong completion in 1950 issues, later better mint including 1961 Horse & Camel set (592-599), 1963 Children's Day set, 1963 Landscapes (716-731), 1964 Peonies (767-781) and Vessels (783-790), Cultural Rev. issue with 1966 Lu Hsun (924-926), 1967 Firefighters (927-929) and a selection of better issue, strong completion from 1969 on with some of the good souvenir sheets present, etc.; mint predominately hinged with n.h. including revolutionary issues; worth evaluation.

Lot 1859 /o   

Cilicia, Varieties Stock, hundreds of mostly mint issues arranged and identified on stockpages in binder; nice array of varieties throughout including "Cilicia" handstamp inverted and doubled on a wide range of issues, #9 pair with handstamp omitted on one, #21 with scarce perf 11½x12½ and double handstamp, #67 with double inverted handstamp, similar section of T.E.O. handstamps and good 1930 "Occupation" overprint varieties, section of multiples and a few on piece items, French issues including many inverted letter varieties, etc.; an excellent and truly scarce accumulation, with approximately $8,000 in owner's retail, worth careful evaluation.

Cilicia, Stock, 1919-21, of mostly mint issues arranged and identified on stockpages in two binders; mint mostly modest to moderate showing of various issue with some slightly heavy duplication and a good showing of n.h., better issues present such as Scott #19 x9 (cat $40 each), #20 x24 (cat $40 each), #60 x14 hinged (cat $45 each) and x7 n.h. (cat $87.50 each), etc., later France surcharge issues with better high values present, back-of-the-book etc., useful assortment of used issues with possible postmark potential.
