1863-1868 Transatlantic Mail - Depreciated Currency, group of 12 covers including Boston and some New York depreciated currency markings, includes 1863 (Jun. 18) Paris to Boston with "Boston, Jul 1, 15/20" cds, 1864 (Jan. 15) London to Boston with "Boston, Jan 29, 1864, 15/21" cds, 1867 (May 25) Liverpool to New Orleans with rare Boston "In U.S. Notes, 62" in circle handstamp, 1867 (Dec. 7) London to Richmond Va. with Boston blue crayon "72/93" rating and additional "Due 93", and 1868 (Jan. 11) Liverpool to Boston with "Boston, 42" cds without date removed to used as a depreciated currency handstamp (24¢ rate + 5¢ fine, 42¢ currency), F.-V.F. and scarce group.

Pkt. '24' Jun 26, 1863" debit exchange cds and "33 / In U.S. Notes" depreciated currency handstamp, Fine and early Boston depreciate currency handstamp use.
