Jan 13, 1862" cds on light buff cover from the Carroll Hoy & Co. correspondence to New Orleans, usual filing holes, Very Fine and choice example of this fancy provisional entire; with 2015 P.F. certificate.

The "P" at center of star is the initial of postmaster William Priestly.
