Ecuador, 1865, 1r yellow, two singles, both with full margins, tied together by sharp "Latacunga, 23 Mars" cds on judicial wrapper to Riobamba, with notation left of stamp denoting wrapper originating in Pujili and posted at Latacunga, Very Fine, a rare usage originating in Pujili.

Ecuador, 1865, 1r green, two singles, margins full to in at bottom, tied by "Guayquil, 18 Abr, 66" cds on quadruple rate civil mail folded letter sheet to Quito, Very Fine, one of the largest internal civil mail franking known.

Ecuador, 1865, 1r green, horizontal pair, positions 65-66, position 66 showing gash in lower right spandrel flaw, ample to large margins, neatly tied by dotted lozenges and matching "Cuenca, 8 Sept, 66" cds's on fresh folded letter to Lima, Peru, receiving backstamp, Very Fine and choice, a lovely 1r green usage featuring one of the most prominent flaws on the plate.
