Mexico, 1866, Emperor Maximilian (litho), 50c green, Mexico, district name only, circular Mexico town cancel (Schatzkes 821), margins large to a bit in at upper right, F.-V.F., name only stamps were issued at the beginning of the issue to be exchanged for demonetized Eagles, probably 4-5 exist, only 53 sent; with 2005 M.E.P.S.I. certificate.

Mexico, 1866, Emperor Maximilian (litho), 50c green, Orizava, cons 62-1866, complete sheet of 70, o.g., hinged or never hinged, showing the error "82" for "62" in position 20, as well as the "blind eye" in position 11, some creases between stamps and reinforcements in the back for a small vertical crease, Very Fine for this, the only recorded full sheet, others in the literature are reconstructed from blocks; with 2013 M.E.P.S.I. certificate.
