United States Collection, 1847-1974, housed in three Scott albums; starting with 1847 issues complete used, #3P4-4P4, 1851 issues with unused 1¢ & 3¢ types and #14 used, selection of mostly used 1857 issues with well centered 5¢ brown, type II and nice 24¢ with attractive red cancel, used 1861 issues with high values and 1¢ shades, 1861-67 3¢ cancel group including a F. grill strip of five, other grill issues including a 2¢ Z. grill, 1869 Pictorials complete to the 30¢ used, Banknotes well represented with some completion, Columbians mint to the 8¢ and a 15¢, Bureaus mostly used up to the high values, Trans-Miss to the $1, Pan-Ams complete mint, 1902 definitives to the $2, Louisiana & Jamestown complete mint, Washington-Franklins well represented with early mint coils including some pairs, 1¢-2¢ blush and later mint completion including better high values, coil wastes, etc., 1922 definitives complete with later coil waste, 2¢ type II coil single and pair (with certs), section of multiples including gutter items with 1½¢ gutter block used, Kans-Nebr, White Plains sheet, later completion with some additional variety items, back-of-the-book issues strong including airmails complete (used C13-C15), special deliveries complete mostly mint with good early issues and additional varieties and proofs including #E4P2, parcel post complete mint, postage dues near complete missing only a few high values with additional including specimen set, etc., Officials nicely represented */o with additional section of specimens, newspapers from first issues and some better including special printing, also a volume of souvenir cards and Park imperf special printing blocks; condition varied mostly confined to earlier issues, worth careful evaluation.

United States Collection, 19th and 20th Century mint and used collection in three Scott albums, including a general Scott National with Scott #1, various regular issues, 1869s, banknotes, early commemoratives, Washington-Franklins, mostly used, Kansas-Nebraska set mint, also back of book with airpost, postage dues, nice selection of officials and some Confederate, volume two contains all mint issues including Columbians 1¢ to 30¢ less 5¢, 2¢ and 10¢ Trans-Mississippi, Pan American complete and others, also blocks of four including 3¢ Columbian, 1¢ Trans, 1932 Washington Bicenntenial complete and more, third volume contains mint modern issues 1960-91, other better items throughout, worth careful review, generally fine to very fine.

Regular Issue Used Stock Balance, 1850-1920's, various high quality singles mostly identified on stockcards; includes a nice selection of little classic gems, later including $5 #263 with clear 2000 P.F. cert and recent P.F. deeming cancel a counterfeit (previous retail $14,000), some other flawed material but made up from the other gem running throughout; inspection recommended.

United States Collection, 1851-1991, mostly mint housed in four Scott albums; starting with useful to better classics issues including #10A unused four margin (small thin), 1857 issues */o, used 1861 issues with high values, 1867 grills including nice 3¢ A. grill, 1869 Pictorials to the 15¢, Banknotes well represented with good later mint, small banknotes complete mint, Columbians complete mint to the $1, Bureau issues complete mint to the 50¢ with additional used $1 values, Trans-Miss complete mint to the 50¢, Pan-Am complete mint (and well centered), 1902 definitives complete mint to the $2, #315 mint, 1904-15 commemoratives complete mint, strong showing of Washington-Franklin issues starting with complete 1908-09 issues, coils issues strong with singles and additional better line pairs throughout, better later key stamp present, #505 in strip and a block, good coil wastes, 1922-25 issues complete with complete later including coil wastes and 2¢ type II issues, WP sheet, Kans-Nebr set, good later variety, also includes some nice plate blocks running throughout including Prexie high values, etc., back-of-the-book mint issues including complete Airmails, Special Deliveries complete, Postage Dues complete (couple rarer stamps used), Parcel Post complete, etc., also included an additional album with airmail plate blocks; overall condition above the norm with nice fresh mint material throughout.

1851-57, 3¢ Issue Used Stamps plus some Essays and Proofs, stockbook with range of stamps plus partial calendar of #11's including Feb. 29th, some interesting fancy cancels like grids, numeral "5" in circle, radials, color cancels, imprint captures, plate varieties like double framelines, double transfers, study of Plate 15 Reliefs, a group of 3¢ 1851-57 Essays, F.-V.F., interesting lot for the specialist.
