1857, 1¢ blue, type II, two singles, plate 4, in combination with 1857, 1¢ blue, type IIIa inverted on insurance corner card cover to Rouse's Point, N.Y., tied by bold Plattsburgh, N.Y. cds's; stamps scissor separated with type II stamps having clipped perfs at bottom, otherwise Very Fine, a very scarce plate 4 combination; with clear 1989 P.S.E. certificate.

Sep 11" cds's on cover to Baltimore, Md.; left stamp with mostly short perfs at left and cover reduced at right, otherwise Very Fine, a rare multiple usage of the 1857 1¢ type IV issue from Kansas territory, Scott catalog for strip of cover $2,750.
