Hawaii, 1861, 5¢ blue, thin bluish paper, margins large to just into frameline at lower right, small pre-use vertical crease, tied by red square grid handstamp on small ladies cover to Honolulu; light cover soiling, F.-V.F., an extremely rare interisland usage of the 1861 5¢ Kamehameha III issue, believed to have been used from Hilo (Hilo mark, similar to the Honolulu grid, has somewhat thicker bars and narrower separation between the bars); with 2007 P.F. certificate.
