1918, $2 orange red & black, o.g., never hinged, perfect centering and encompassed by huge evenly balanced margins all around, fresh with rich colors, a Superb jumbo gem, however, when last sold for $19,500 (in 2014), this stamp was submitted to the Philatelic Foundation where it was graded previously hinged S 98 J (cert. included), now for the first time since last sold in 2014 this gem will be sold on its own merits; with 2013 P.S.E. certificate Graded (Gem 100J, SMQ $17,500).
