Courier, red oval handstamp on May 28th 1819 folded letter datelined from London, carried by the Courier from Liverpool to New York arriving Jul. 8th, entered mails with red "New-York, Jul 8l cds and matching "Ship" handstamp and manuscript "20½" rating for 18½¢ inland plus 2¢ ship fee, F.-V.F. and scarce transatlantic ship marking, ex-Milgram (J.W.M.).

From Red River Packet Creole, clear sharp strike of oval handstamp on 1849 folded letter datelined "Bossier Parish, La. Apr 5th 1849" from the Buchannon Carroll & Co. correspondence to New Orleans, Very Fine and choice.

The Creole under Capt. C.H. White operated the Alexandria to New Orleans trade on Route 6006.

Steamer Denmark, blue embossed "Northern Packet Line" cameo corner card on light buff cover bearing 3¢ dull red (26), guideline s.e. at right, tied by sharp "Saint Louis, Mo. May 22, 1860" cds to Pittsburgh Pa., original letter with some steamboat line content with freight not doing well and heading for St. Paul; reduced at left with some paper loss, otherwise Very Fine.
