Mexico, 1886, Numeral unwatermarked, 2c carmine, perf 12, used as a revenue stamp on a 1888 receipt for payment to a teacher for teaching a boy; slight stamp soiling, F.-V.F., very rare (photo on web site).

Mexico, 1886, Numeral, 2c brownish carmine, perf 12, in combination with 1887, 3c brownish carmine, perf 12 on private postal card tied by bold fancy mute cancel from La Esperanza, with certificate stating the 2c is a proof; three small holes at top center with one slightly affecting 3c, Very Fine, very unusual; signed J. Bash, with 1976 M.E.P.S.I. certificate (photo on web site).

Mexico, 1886, Numeral unwatermarked, 10c lilac, perf 12, two singles, tied by quartered cork handstamp on registered cover to Paris, France, with red wheel-of-fortune handstamps at sides with matching "Franco, Guaymas, Ago 6, 1887" octagon date stamp additionally tying, boxed Guaymas certification date stamp and N.Y. etiquette, reverse with attached original A.R. form franked with 1886, Numeral, 5c blue (178a) tied by Guaymas postmark with unrecorded "Nogales, Sonora, Ago 9, 1887 Registrado" boxed date stamp alongside, transit and receiving postmarks, Very Fine, a rare registration cover bearing the A.R. form with the extremely rare Nogales registration date stamp.

Mexico, 1890, Numeral, 1c green, in combination with 1890, Numeral, 4c vermilion on reverse of rare "Telegrafo del Gobierno del Estado de Michoacán" cover to London, England, tied by 1892 Apatzingán origin cds with various transit cds's, probably included the contents of a telegram and used the postal system to send it, also included is a Federal Telegraph cover addressed to Encarnación; first cover opened at sides for display, Very Fine, since the telegraphs in Mexico were state owned, this official correspondence is very rare, ex-G. Kramer (photo on web site).
