Mexico: Cuernavaca, Cuernavaca, Franco, provisional oval handstamp with district overprint handstamp at center, blue oval cutout affixed on 1867 docketed folded letter sheet to Mexico City; couple small cover edge tears and some splitting along folds, F.-V.F., with 2010 M.E.P.S.I. certificate stating the cut may have been taken from a sello negro cover and may not originate, this cover is offered here "as is".

Guadalajara, 1867, 2r black on white, tied by ribbon handstamp (Schatzkes 343) on folded letter sheet dated in the first month of issue on January 29, 1867, matching C. Guzman banner postmark (Schatzkes 340), to Guadalajara, Very Fine, all covers from the first period are rare; with 2002 M.E.P.S.I. certificate.

Guadalajara, 1867, 2r black on white, uncanceled on folded letter to Guadalajara with certificate stating the stamp is genuine but it is unlikely that it originated in this cover because it has a "2" on reverse, originated in the small town of Tamazula, so the "2" was probably put there, Very Fine appearance, believed to be the only known uncancelled stamp of this issue, unlisted unused in Scott; with 2020 M.E.P.S.I. certificate.
