San Francisco Chronicle Building, illustrated building ad design on registered lemon cover bearing G.B. Turkish Empire, 1887 40p on 2½d violet/blue (4) vertical pair, tied by "R" registry ovals, matching "British Post Office, Constantinople, AP 29 89" cds return to the San Francisco Chronicle, red Registered London (5.3) transit oval, New York (5.13) transit backstamp; couple small edge tears, otherwise Very Fine and rare use from the British Levant.
