Mint & Used Collection 1851-1950, an interesting old time collection mounted on exhibition pages which includes singles, blocks, multiples, a few proofs & covers, the covers show a variety of usages including three 1847 5¢ covers, stampless cover addressed to James Polk, President of the U. States, first day covers, registered & advertising covers, included is a complete set of Trans-Mississippi ($1 used, $2 unused), some very nice off cover used high value multiples are noted such as #518, #524, #573, #834, etc., a mint White Plains souvenir sheet is noted, also included is two Scott Speciality albums showing a general collection, worth inspection.
