1894 California Midwinter Fair Tickets, wonderful collection of tickets comprising the set of 4 engraved tickets by Crocker Co.; July th 1894 San Francisco Day ticket souvenir card and additional "Coupon, Admit Bearer" stub; "Alameda Day" special ticket, "Dept. of Concessions, 25 Cents" ticket; two Southern Pacific Company "Individual Ticket" each with blue "So. Pac. Co., San Francisco., June 5, 1894" double-circle datestamp on front and "So. Pac. Co., Roseburg, May 6 1894" backstamp; and also includes a playing card with the Midwinter Fair seal; some flaws, F.-V.F. and remarkable group of fair tickets.

1894 California Midwinter Fair Complimentary Ticket, printed letter from the Office of the Director General H. de Young to J.W. Scott of Chicago sending a complimentary card of admission to the Exposition, accompanied by Crocker Co. engraved "Eureka" ticket; ticket with light toning, otherwise Very Fine and scarce.

1894 California Midwinter International Exposition Postcards (Megson GC10), a wonderful complete set of 9 used multicolor Exposition postcards showing various views of the Exposition, each bearing 1¢ Columbian (230) tied by "San Francisco, Cal." 1894 machine cancel to France, cards printed by Schmidt L & L Co., Very Fine and rare.

Midwinter Fair Sta., S.F., Cal. Jun 22 '94, clear strike of cds duplexed with barred "1" oval cancels 2¢ green entire with wonderful "Offices of Executive Committee" California Midwinter International Exposition advertising design to local city address, Very Fine and choice.
Bomar No. SF94-01    Estimate $300 - 400.

The advertising text was apparently made for a slightly larger envelope, like the 2¢ Columbian entire, and in this cases illegally impinges on the 2¢ indicia.
