1904, Louisiana Purchase complete, set used with 1¢ green (300), with each cancelled by "Atlantic City N.J." oval, purple "Atlantic City, N.J., Registered, Jun 1, 1904" cds on registered cover to Germany, New York (6.2) backstamp and Registry Label (FX-NY1a) affixed, Altona (6.12) arrival cds, Very Fine and colorful.

1904, 1¢, 2¢ Louisiana Purchase, each top plate number strips of three, used with 1¢ green (300), all tied by purple "Registered, Nov 21, 1904, Bloomington, Ill." three-line registry postmarks to Chicago Ill. (address on reverse), Nov. 22nd arrival backstamp, Very Fine and unusual registry use.

1908, 1¢ green, tied by cork cancel on real photo post card showing "Interior of tent, Sanatorium Mont Alto Pa." to Middletown Pa. with clear strike of "DISINFECTED." straightline handstamp, message from patient: "Nov. 28. 09, I got here all right & felt better right away, have not coughed hardly any, last night or today…", Very Fine and scarce Mont Alto Sanitarium real photo post card.

The Tuberculosis Sanitarium located at Mont Alto Pa. was one of three large TB sanitariums located in the state that treated thousands of patients. All mail was disinfected to prevent the spread of the disease.

1909, 2¢ carmine, bluish paper, well centered with rich color and distinctive bluish paper, neatly tied by "Washington D.C., Apr 28, 1909" machine postmark on Navy Department corner card cover to the Navy Yard in Brooklyn, N.Y., Extremely Fine, a choice and early usage; with 2019 P.F. certificate.

1909, 2¢ Hudson-Fulton, well centered with natural s.e. at right, tied by "Lancaster Pa., Sep 25, 09, 12:30-AM" First Day machine cancel on beautiful "Fulton Souvenir" postcard to Manheim, Pa. depicting Robert Fulton's birthplace that was the proposed location of a national monument, a Very Fine first day use.
