A RARE PRE-ELECTION USE OF AN 1868 GRANT CAMPAIGN COVER TRANSATLANTIC TO GREAT BRITAIN.

This was an early use of this 1868 Ulysses S. Grant Campaign cover was mailed prior to the November 1868 election. Most known examples are mailed post-election.
