1858 (Oct. 6, Nov. 3) New Orleans La. to Thiengen, Germany, two blue folded printed circulars from same correspondence without addresses, first bearing 1¢ blue (24) horizontal pair, pos. 43-44L5, tied by "New Orleans La., Oct 6" cds, carried by Cunard Line Arabia from New York Oct. 13th to Liverpool arriving Oct. 25th, red Calais "Et-Unis Serv. Br. A. C., J" (10.25) transit cds; second bearing 1¢ blue, type Va (24) horizontal pair, pos. 49-59L5, creased from file fold, tied by "New Orleans La., Nov 3" cds, carried by Inman Line contract Vigo from New York Nov. 6th to Liverpool arriving Nov. 21st, red Calais "Et-Unis Serv. Am. A. C., J" (11.23) transit cds, Thiengen (11.25) arrival backstamp, F.-V.F. pair of 1¢ plate V circulars.

1860 (Feb. 4) New Orleans La. to Schopfheim, Baden, folded printed circular bearing 1¢ blue (24) horizontal pair tied by partial "New Orleans La., Feb 4" cds, carried by Cunard Line Canada from Boston Feb. 22nd to Queenstown arriving Mar. 4th, red Calais (3.5) transit cds, blue ms. "4/1" rating (4kr UK/France transit, 1kr Baden) totaled in blue crayon "5" kr, Very Fine.
Estimate    $300 - 400.

Under the 1857 Baden-France Convention, France paid the UK for bulk transit, but collected from Baden by the piece.

1862 (Mar. 28) New York N.Y. to Bremen, folded cover endorsed "Printed Prices Current, Paid" at bottom left, bearing 1¢ blue (63) pair tied by "New-York, Mar 28, 1863" duplex with fancy circle of wedges, carried as endorsed by Inman Line Edinburgh from New York Mar. 28th to Queenstown arriving Apr. 8th, red French (4.10) transit cds, Bremen (4.12) arrival backstamp and blue crayon "4" kr due rating; cover mend at right, Very Fine appearance.
