Jan 3" cds, partial red "New York, Paid All, Direct, Jan 4" exchange cds (date inverted), carried by Hapag Line Hammonia II from New York Jan. 4th to Hamburg arriving Jan. 16th, red "Hamburg, Franco 16/1 70" framed transit, Jan. 17th arrival backstamp; missing back flap and reduced at left, 2¢ & 15¢ small defects, Very Fine appearance, a scarce combination for double 10c rate to Germany.

Apr 10" cds, red "Chicago, Paid All, Direct, Apr 17" exchange backstamp, carried by Hapag Holsatia from New York Apr. 19th to Hamburg arriving Apr. 29th, red "Hamburg, Franco, 1/5 70" framed transit, German (5.1) arrival backstamp and forwarded to Berlin with May 2nd arrival backstamp, Very Fine.
