AN EXTREMELY RARE PLATE BLOCK OF THE 1893 10¢ SPECIAL DELIVERY ISSUE.

Both plates of the 1888 10¢ Special Delivery Issue were reused in January 1893 to print the issue in orange to avoid confusion with the blue 1¢ Columbian stamp. It is believed that approximately a dozen plate blocks of the 1893 Special Delivery issue exist.

AN EXCEPTIONALLY RARE PLATE NUMBER BLOCK OF THE 1894 BUREAU 10¢ SPECIAL DELIVERY STAMP ISSUE.

Plate 77 was the only plate utilized for the 10¢ 1894 Special Delivery stamp issue. Bluish paper and poor perforations are typical. Only about a dozen of these plates exist.
