Danish West Indies, 1866, 3¢ rose, imperf, large margins except touched at top, central strike of five-ring and dot cancel (type 1), matching partial "St. Thomas, 23/10 1868" cds on folded cover from the W.H. Heylinger correspondence to Christiansted, St. Croix; erosion slit in address, 3¢ single borer hole, Fine and scarce.

Danish West Indies, 1866, 3¢ rose, imperf, large margins except touched at top, cancelled central strike of five-ring and dot cancel (type 1), matching "St. Thomas, 7/4 1868" cds on gray folded cover from the W.H. Heylinger correspondence to Christiansted, St. Croix; acidic ink has eroded address, 3¢ with two borer holes and scissor cut, Fine and scarce; with 1975 Friedl certificate.

Danish West Indies, 1874, 7¢ lilac & orange, used with 5¢ green & gray (8), each tied by bold St. Thomas four-ring cancel on blue 1877 cover docketed from Martinique to Arville, France at the 12¢ UPU transition rate, reverse with Paris Depart (11.27), La Rochelle (11.27) transits and Avrille (11.28) arrival; missing flap and top edge repaired, Very Fine appearance.

(3.12) transit backstamp and "Collect / Postage .30 Cents" due handstamp; minor bottom edge stain, F.-V.F. and scarce postage due use. Facit No. 10g.

Danish West Indies, 1887, 1¢ on 7¢ lilac & orange, surcharged "1 CENT", faulty top left corner and light crease, used with 3¢ light blue & rose carmine (6a) pair and single, tied by two strikes of "St. Thomas, 16/9, 1887" cds on cover to Windsor, Canada, carried as endorsed by U.S. and Brazil Mail 3rd Line Advance from St. Thomas Sep. 14th to New York arriving Sep. 22nd, reverse with New York "Paid All" (9.22) exchange duplex and Windsor (9.25) arrival cds, flap with embossed "Colonial Bank" belt imprint, Very Fine.
