Tibet, 1933, Third Issue, imperf, 2t red, in combination with Nepal 1949, 8p vermilion (86) on 1953 incoming cover from Kathmandu to Lhasa, both stamps affixed in Nepal and canceled by Kathmandu cds, with light "Gyantse, Nov 53" British P.O. transit cds alongside Tibet issue, Very Fine, a rare and unusual Nepal-Tibet combination usage, illustrated in Singer's Nepal (page 254); with 2009 Flack certificate.

Normally the Tibetan stamps would have been added in Gyantse and canceled by a Tibetan postmark of Gyantse. When Tibetan stamps were affixed in Kathmandu they were usually not canceled until arrival in Tibet.
