Afghanistan, Early Franked Covers, 1871-90, small group of eight covers; includes Tiger's Head issues including Scott #6 on cover (with enclosure), #44 & #88 usages on separate covers, also four 1880's circular inspection issue usages including a scarce pair usage (1889 Abasi) and two singles usage; a nice group for the specialist.

Afghanistan, Collection, 1891-1960's, mostly mint Kingdom of Afghanistan issues arranged in stockpages in album; includes 1890's pelure and flimsy wove paper types including used and blocks of four, on cover usage (needing to be checked), etc., later Mosque types */o, three large panes of the 1913 postal card stamp (Scott 212, cat $2,900), good used 1920 10ps & 20pa Independence Day issues including 10pa pair, later 1920's including sets and tête-bêche blocks, later issues much in parallel perf and imperf format and varieties dotted throughout including the 1951 UPU 35p cliche in a 135p block, good back-of-the-book with a set of 8 of the "Postes Aerienne" surcharge forerunners, first and second issues including imperf, nice sections of registration and parcel post issues including 1921 tête-bêche blocks, etc., also some airmail cover worth checking; nice group for the Afghanistan specialist.
