Thompson & Co's Express, small group of five items; includes rare light red "Thompson & Co's Express" straight line on 1844 circular Boston to Montreal (one of two known handstamps), 1846 company letter from Springfield, Mass. to Hartford, Ct. sent through the mails with red circular handstamp on reverse, manuscript express endorsement on 1844 folded letter Albany to Springfield, Mass., black on blue label on faulty cover with fake handstamps, and a 1852 Harnden's Express billhead with illustrated striding messenger showing Thompson connection, a Fine group.
