Mexico, 1856, First Issue, ½r blue, San Luis Potosi, in combination with 1856, First Issue, 1r yellow, San Luis Potosi (2) on 1856 folded letter to Mexico, tied by oval San Luis Potosi date stamp (Schatzkes 1441); cover with minor erosion hole at top, Very Fine, very few covers exist paying the 1½r rate.

Mexico, 1856, First Issue, ½r blue, horizontal strip of six, Veracruz, rich bright color, tied by light Veracruz cds's (Schatzkes 1757A) on fresh 1861 folded letter sheet to Puebla; sideflap at right missing, Very Fine, very few multiples like this on cover, the sheet of medios had only 6 stamps per row, so this is the largest possible horizontal strip; with 2021 M.E.P.S.I. certificate.

Mexico, 1856, First Issue, 1r yellow, Durango, without district name, wide margins, tied by neat fancy "Cuencame" handstamp (Schatzkes 24B) on fresh folded letter sheet to Durango, with official Principal De Rentas wreath cachet handstamp, Very Fine and choice, a scarce revenue office official cover from a very small town.
