1861, 30¢ orange, with 3¢ rose (65) and 24¢ steel blue (70b), each canceled by magenta grids, matching "Hartford Ct., Jul 29" cds on 1862 blue Hall correspondence cover to Kanagawa, Japan, addressed in care of Messrs. Olyphant in Hong Kong, China, bright red "N. York, Br. Pkt. 'Paid' Jul 30" transit cds and magenta "52" cent credit to G.B., red "London, AU 9 '62" transit with red crayon "1" colonial 1d credit, blue "Hong Kong, SP 21 '62" backstamp; 3¢ restored, light cover crease at left, a Very Fine appearing use at the 57¢ British Mail rate via Marseilles, ex-Paliafito, DuPuy.
