Feb 12, 1862" River Mail cds on folded cover addressed to Judge Buchanan in New Orleans La., the address panel has been reduced and re-attached to original back, F.-V.F., ex-Warren; with 2007 C.S.A. certificate. The river mail cds indicates this was incoming river mail at the dock. The addressee, Judge Buchanan, was a very well respected jurist in New Orleans.
