Langton's Pioneer Express, from "Unionville", black on yellow label with manuscript "Unionville" town designation used in conjunction with black on red "Wells, Fargo & Co's Express, From 'Nevada' " label with manuscript Nevada City town designation, on orange legal-size cover to San Francisco, Very Fine and rare conjunctive Langton-Wells Fargo use, ex-Hackett.

Examples of Western Express Company Labels used conjunctively on cover are exceedingly rare, and this cover, carried over the same route as that used by Langton's Humboldt Express, is a prime example of such a usage.
