THE ONLY KNOWN EXAMPLE OF THE 1857 KAMEHAMEHA III ISSUE LINE THROUGH "HONOLULU" VARIETY AND DOUBLE PRINT.
According to F. Gregory's "Post Office in Paradise" website, two sheets of this stamp were double printed. On one sheet the doubling is noticeable on the left of the stamp. On the other sheet, the doubling is seen mostly throughout. This combination variety is listed in the D'Assis I.D.C. as unique.
