(Advertising) New York Buildings Advertising Covers, a wonderful array of over 300 19th century covers arranged in six cover stockbooks, virtually all different designs from the 1850's to the 1890's, mostly black illustrations with a nice array of colored design including bronze, many allover shaded ads including the the New York Herald in blue and green (similar but different designs), some matching designs in different color printing and cover color, nice New York Herald to Germany franked with 4¢ + 1¢ Trans-Miss issues, early 1850's cameo designs, dual illustration design, few better items-color illustrations, Boyd's stampless local usage, #63+65 stamp use, etc.; a nice basis for continuation. Estimate $1,500 - 2,000.
