1857, 1¢ blue, type V, vertical pair, well centered, tied by partial New Orleans "Sep 5, 1860" cds on blue folded circular to Amsterdam, printed "Printed Circular, Per first Steamer from New York." endorsement at top left, blue "1½c. Amsterdam" triangle backstamp, Dutch ms. "7½" Dutch cents due rating, magenta "1860" notation; couple minor stain spots, Very Fine and scarce use at the 2¢ British open mails newspaper rate.
